Last week of June! (Maybe not)

So yeah, so far, its been a good week.
Shopping at Bugis with Evelyn and Andes on Monday.
Bought new shoes!
Tuesday, school.
Met up with Lynette after that to go down to Andes' for caregroup.
Wednesday, some came over to my place, prayer meeting after that.
Played guitar for prayer meeting.
Was pretty good.
Thursday, went to watch transformers!
Awesome movie, won't mind catching it again with 3/4 on Tuesday!
Friday, went out with Evelyn to shop for Lavette's present.
Ivan came along.
Saturday, went to Bugis (again).
Bought bermudas, and a hoodie from peninsula plaza.
Played guitar for edge again. It was rocking!
After that Lavette's bbq party!
Was feeling hyper at first, but after awhile I lost the energy and just kept quiet.
Haha and emo-ed by the ledge for awhile.
Rawr.
Today, had street evangelism training, super excited about it.
Evening service was great!
During the AGM, we sat at the nursery room playing the 'MRT Game'
Super fun!
Its like a combination of whacko and tooki tooki.
Dinner at Hougang after that.
Not with 3/4 youth.
With parents hahaha.
But got to talk with the youth awhile as well.

True emo

Well, haven't been up to anything much lately.
Its just been slacking slacking slacking.
And procrastinating alot.
Assignments piling in, but I'm not doing anything.
I feel that I've lost all motivation for academics.
Pray for me please =\
Well I only updated cos Evie told me she's sick of reading un-updated blogs.
So yeah, I can't remember much that happened though...
Lack of sleep is catching up to me.
I only remember yesterday.
Lavette, Evelyn, Pamela and James came over to my place.
Played wii for awhile, den we fell asleep.
LOL
Oh yeah and Monday, went with Andes and Evelyn to shop @ Bugis!
Got myself a pair of new shoes!
Hope to get a hoody soon, and a retarded T-shirt.
Oh well, I guess that's about it?

Youth Camp!

Well, so this week has been a tiring but awesome week for me.
Averaged only about 3 hours of sleep per night.
Youth camp was awesome, team Gale rocks!
Super slack, but we still won!
Ramly burgers and cup noodles late at night.
Devotions early in the morning.
First time playing acoustic guitar for youth service.
*Jitters*
Took very few photos, cos I'd look very tired in every photo.

Well, how was camp, you ask?
It was definitely something that we should look forward to every year.
It was power packed with Jude Fouquier coming back to preach to us once again.
I felt that every single message he shared was for me.
To ELEVATE me to a higher level.

1st day - Went early, slacked in the lounge while waiting for my roomies.
Found my room, unpacked, showered. Went off for dinner.
Got to meet my team, and the session was powerful.

2nd day - Devotions was good, didn't get to eat much for breakfast though.
I was on duty for worship in the mornings so I had to leave early.
Morning session was good, went for lunch after that, and came back to play the amazing race.
We came in first! It was good, we did everything quite slackishly, and we still came in first.
Same thing goes for the night, session was awesome, went back to hotel, mad rush at 7-11.
Showered, prayed with roomies, sleep.

3rd day - Had to wake up super early for devotions, as this time we had to walk to Timesquare instead of Federal hotel, the morning session was good, but the preacher preached something about husbands and wives, and I just happened to sit in between Pamela and Wendy, and the row that I was sitting at was all girls. So if I happened to disagree or agree with some of the things that that pastor mentioned, I'd find at least 2 fists being pointed at me from both directions. After that Pastor Jude took over, and it was a very powerful message as usual, he preaches with such passion that awakens the whole crowd, and gets everyone going. Had lunch with mum at some teppanyaki place, headed down to meet the youth for shopping after that. Bought a rather cute T-Shirt with a spiderman cartoon on it. Went with the girly girls, Andes, Rachel and Ivan to shop at Sungei Wang after that. Tiring, but we had to be the bodyguards for the girls I guess. No night session on wednesday. Met up with dad in the night for some coffee and chatting.

4th day - Played guitar for worship again.
Dirty games in the afternoon, gross games, tasty games, violent games and strength games.
Shampooing games? Camouflage games? Shaving cream games? hahaha.

5th day - Testimonies, packed up. Got ready to go. Slept at Jonathon and Jeremy's house in the afternoon. Went for dinner at night. Bought 2 pairs of berms at the pasar malam, one of which looks exactly like James'.

Today, rushed back to Singapore for worship duty. FOR EDGE.
First time, was super excited, and I jumped while playing guitar!
It was hard, but enjoyable.
Got suaned by Jeremy Seaward during the sermon. =(
Now everyone knows me zzzzZZZZZZZ

Bittersweet mix of feelings

Ah well, what can I say, its been a fun and eventful week.

Monday - Went for a movie with James, Gab Ho and Ivan. Watched Terminator Salvation. Was a good movie, pretty entertaining. After that was the crystal jade buffet at holland village with some of the 7/8 people, was a good time, very fun and very filling. Felt that we ate a whole farm of animals. Haha.

Tuesday - Didn't do much, met up with Evelyn at Hougang point's MacDonalds to buy ice cream, then went down to Andes house to play wii. Had fun just chilling out there, raving rabbids, mario kart and all.

Wednesday - Was supposed to have tennis training and gym, but woke up with a crazy headache so I cancelled both, although they did go to the gym without me. Went for lunch at CompassPoint after that, was supposed to be just me, David, Joel Lin and Jeremy Yap, cos we wanted to shop for supplies for youth camp, but a whole lot of others came along, after that we went to play wii at Andes house. (Again)

Thursday-Friday - Packed for Malaysia, after which I went to City Hall to meet Wendy, JJ and Ivan for Kuishin Bo buffet. Was a VERY good buffet, so worth the $42.25. Everything was fresh and delicious, from the crabs to the sashimi to the teppanyaki. Really enjoyed my time there. After that JJ and I headed down to James' house for the sleepover. Sleepover was fun, although we didn't do much, we just watched a movie, and watched a comedy serial. After that we were pretty much out, so we fell asleep. Woke up the next day, had 'breakfast' at KFC with the sleepover gang, left them afterwards to meet up with some of my primary schoolmates for lunch.
Haven't seen them for quite awhile, and it was a good time of just chatting and catching up with each other. Ate somewhere expensive, forgot the name of the place though. Went for net after that, Darrell and Nicholas came along! Was feeling quite excited, net was good, although we started and alate. Darrell commented that without the presence of Esther, the net would be really quiet. I guess he's right to a certain extent, cause JJ was rather quiet that night. Haha. Discussed about net outreach, decided to have a drinks party. (Milo, Coffee, Smoothies, Milkshakes).

Saturday - Slacked around, went to pick up Sheryl and her mum to make our way up to KL, was a good trip, we reached quite fast, I guess, time just happened to go by very quickly. Had dinner at the western place near my cousin's house, lamb chop! Wanted to order escargot but mum said it was too late and wouldn't be good for digestion. Showed Sheryl the BIG house that was in the private housing estate that my cousins live in. It's HUMONGOUS and I'm always impressed whenever I look at it.

Today - Went to cousin's church service, was a pretty good message, although I was half asleep, and now, here I am after a 4 hour long nap, thinking of what to do.

Coming week,

Sentosa was great!
Though I was feeling rather sour in the morning.
Due to my brother's forgetfulness to bring our shoes.
But things got better as we went on.
Didn't get to take many photos, only around 30 photos of me?
The one here is the best photo taken, of me and Gabriel Gnin getting ready to rumble.
Edge was good as usual, pastor Jeremy's messages just get better and better.
Had duty after that, and went to Hougang to eat with beloved 3/4.
Lamb chop!
Was the meal of the day, since I didn't have anything to eat at Sentosa, the hotdog bun was just an appetizer.

Today, went to PLMGS at 8am to meet David to change my guitar strings.
Kinda failed, cos I totally suck at changing guitar strings.
But thanks to David we accomplished it in no more than half an hour!
Awesome.
So yeah, morning service was really good, and had youth camp briefings after that.
I realise I won't be around to meet my team members next week after edge.
Have to go early to Malaysia, leaving after water baptism.
Super sian, I guess I'm gonna be the loner in the group this year?
Oh well.

Things to look forward to :

4. Maybe uh, seoul garden? (if my wallet holds)
5. Sleepover at James' and Evelyn's.

Hope this week will turn out real good, I'm kinda excited about it, haven't felt so excited in years.

I woke up in tears one of the nights this week.

All because I dreamt of you.
I dreamt that you were in immense pain.
Like you were suffering hell's torment.
I couldn't bear it.
I hope it doesn't come to past.
I hope I don't have another deja vu moment where I see these scenes.
Its gonna be too painful to bear.
And I'd just be helpless as well.
So I'll be praying hard.
And hope the hero comes to save the day.

Swimming!

So we went swimming today!
Just me, David, James and Gabriel Ho.
Really chilled out and had fun.
Played Marvel Vs Capcom in my house.
Jammed with David.
We composed a song! But only done with the chorus.
Swam, had dinner. Bak Kut Teh!
Came back to my house and watched retarded videos!
Great bonding time today.
Really enjoyed it.
Sorry Yan Han.
Really sorry I didn't come up with details sooner.
Oh well, can't wait for recording tomorrow!

I really really had fun

I hate mon-fri, I love sat-sun

Well, the weekends have been great!
Though we didn't win hotdog holocaust, I still felt like a winner that day!
Had a good dinner at Hougang Mall with the youth, sat with Nicholas, Gab Gnin and Ivan.

Sunday was super good, felt really good to be on stage playing guitar for worship, after so long.
Lunch was good, den something happened which made me emo for awhile.
GDOP was good, at first during the worship I didn't really feel much of God's presence.
Only after Jeremy Seaward took over the session, then I started to feel more of God in the place.
I'm not being biased or anything, but its really what I felt.
Dinner at popeyes and intense camwhoring session at T3 after that.
Was really really really good, it helped take my mind off alot of things.

Monday, went to NP to study, but didn't get to study much
I explored around the campus, and slacked at the library.
Went to meet Gab and Paul for lunch.
James came and joined us.
Went back to library.
Slacked all the way.
Nic and Pam came, slack slack slack.
Took bus to with them after that.
Talk crap sessions in the bus.

Today, DSAG term test. GG.
Totally blank.
Went for lunch with Lohes, Aiman, Ain and Haziqah at CS after that.
Caregroup was good!
I was feeling rather sick at first, but during worship I just felt God's presence really strongly.
And I got better after that.

Well, thats about it so far, just thought I should update.
